Excellent trimmers
You may be able to "procure" these in prison too, but you can also procure many other things there as well. So what? These are great trimmers that can be used for trimming all body hair. I own two and one if for my facial hair and the other is for more "sensitive" areas. You'll have to be cautious in more "sensitive" areas because these will bite (ouch!). I had to buy another one for my beard as after 6 years I dropped my old one on the hard bathroom tile and damaged the guard & the blade head won't stay attached. Don't waste your $ or time
The motor is the same, as far as I can tell, as my dying Maverick T-1000 from 20+ yrs ago. An incredible trimmer. Great motor but nearly dead now. This new things variety of cut lengths is very minimal and chances are, while you're doing your grooming at the setting you chose, you'll push against your beard or head a little bit and the thing will knock down to a shorter length than you want but will have to settle for that (if it doesn't go even shorter) and redue the rest of your cut so you don't show a divot on your hair job. Don't waste your $ or time with this. Your time would be better spent trying to convince P.N. to bring back the Mav T-1000 and restore their reputation. I wanted a beard trimmer for travel and this one fits the bill. It has an adjustable head so there isn't 3 or 4 combs to fool with. It runs on 2 AA batteries so you don't have to carry a charger.
