A children's detective story - dated now, but interesting as an example of pre-WWII children's literature.
I bought this to replace a copy that's falling apart. When the purchased copy was read, it also fell apart, so I am no better off with my Ebay copy! except that all the pages are there. Obviously due to the age of the copy, the glue down the spine of the paperback has dried out completely and no longer holds the pages together. I am not returning this copy. as it is not worth the bother, but keep an elastic band round it, so no pages get lost and warn any potential other readers (grandchildren) to be careful not to lose any pages. It's a good story - just a bit disappointed about the physical condition of the book!
