  • Ideal for collectors

Although it contains a wide range of ceramic work, it is probably better suited to antique dealers and collectors. If I had read the sub-title correctly, it would have alerted me and I would have looked elsewhere, e.g. a search for studio pottery, rather than “British and American Factory-Produced Ceramics”. My first index search was “Leach”, a very famous name ad great example of British ceramics from a small Cornish studio.. There were no illustrations and five lines of print. The fault is mine; for collectors and dealers, this book will be ideal - illustrated quite well, produced on quality paper and sound hardback.

  • Not specific enough

As a general reference book it is fine but is not for the serious collector or dealer
