This book (guide) is a must for anyone exploring Dartmoor, whether it is a casual stroll around selected areas or a more in depth look at the moors, it will help you; also, an ordnance survey map (OL 28) is a great compliment to the book. When I first look at my new book, I wasn't impressed, but after a more careful study, plus cross referencing with the OS map, it all made sense and I was able to appreciate its content.
