Published in 2009, this educational resource is ideal for students, historians, and anyone with a passion for the period's cultural and social history.
There really isn't a great deal to say about a book of photographs, other than it gives a visual record of an era.
As a window onto a world of war, peace movements, the fear of terrorism and really bad clothing(tthat's the scary bit, realising I used to wear these things) then it works.
Mainly it is a bit of fun and an excellent reminder of the day from anyone who lived there, but it is also a great book for anyone doing 20th century British history.
I would definitely recommend it.
