First class illustrations by Ian Garrard.
Ian Garrard's drawing and of course, painting is a treat. This edition of the book is a later printing and has rather better colour in some of the plates. The index has been greatly improved.

A comprehensive look at the many species of British wild flowers.
The illustrations by Ian Garrard are the reason I bought this book and they are brilliant. Astonishing amount of work. Can't understand why the writer David Streeter does not acknowledge him in the place where he acknowledges all the other people that had some input to the book. Truly amazing art work.
