Scottish Peaks: A Pictorial Guide to Walking in This Region and the Safe Ascent of Its Most Spectacular Mountains by William Arthur Poucher (Hardcover, 1982)
One of the greatest and practical hill walkers guide. It covers most of the popular climbs and many of the big ones. For each hill you get a map, a route and a detailed description. Added benefit is that it fits handily in your backpack without adding much weight. Great for planning those days out.
This copy was in good condition but had been on the shelf in dampish conditions as it smelt very musty however by leaving open for a few days helped to reduce it.
