absorbing murder story.Detective Rebus is a flawed cynical cop, who uses dubious methods to get his man!
Can't believe it's taken so long to discover how good Ian Rankin books are. Read one and enjoyed so much decided would start at the beginning. Knots & crosses did not disappoint . Believable characters with strong story line. Already have the next book.

Very entertaining!!
After watching the TV series I was wondering about the books, so I bought the first of the serie and, even if it is different from the TV show, I did found the novel very good and with an excellent writing. Now I know better the characters and I love it. I can wait reading the next one!!
