Want shorthand? This is for you then
Teeline is a very clever method of shorthand and as a former journalist, I needed a dependable method. And it what I had used wasn't Teeline. However, in very scary circumstances, as outlined in my book, Sailing to Purgatory, I wanted and needed a reliable shorthand method I could learn quickly, memory having mostly lost the method I used for years previously. And Teeline wasn't hard to learn - although at the time I was under considerable pressure to understand and to be able to work with it in short time. I succeeded, and I used it to write a confidential diary every day for eight ghastly years and 14 days. Would I recommend it as a good shorthand and this book as a great way to get it? I certainly would and do. And it's a fun 'language' to learn, too. Thanks very much, Ann Dix. - paul rodgers
