  • The Art of Gunsmithing The Shotgun by Lewis Potter 9781861268150

This book is very well written by a very nice and knowledgeable working gunsmith. When picked up it is very difficult to put down, I consider it excellent value for money and a 'MUST HAVE' for anyone seriously interested in guns. It is not limited to people who want to repair guns and will give gun users a much better insight into the guns they use and how best to look after them. As fas as I am concerned I highly recommend this book but do not blame me if when you are reading it the wife berates you for not doing your chores. Regards, Tony Morris.

  • Art of gunsmithing

This is a useful general but wide overview of the many aspects shotgun-smithing for the novice, but in all honesty does not really provide sufficient detail on any one aspect to allow anyone to tackle such work themselves. However it does serve to help direct any reader having such needs, to seek further research and learning or, perhaps more importantly, to seek the services of a professional time-served and qualified gunsmith.

  • Bad Day for “ Bodgers”

This is the book that has been missing from the gun fanciers library, it has the proper ways to do a job,the legal obligations of the gun owner and the repairer ,care and repair of the woodwork and a good glimpse at the British proof system all rolled into the one package. Good value.
