A really interesting way of reading the Bible, if often also frustrating!
If you have been following a different Bible in a year scheme for a while and want a change, this is a really interesting way of reading the Bible chronologically. I have been using the HTB Bible in One Year scheme for several years and would still recommend that before this, but this does give a helpful historical context to the readings and some of the psalms, particularly, are given great depth through this scheme. There is minimal commentary, which is the frustrating bit, if you have grown used to Scripture Union's excellent Wordlive and/or Nicky and Pippa Gumbel's observations on the readings, but this is still really worthwhile and definitely worth having as another option.
