The Boer War by Thomas Pakenham. It does have signs of its age: the illustration on the dust jacket's spine has faded to grey, there are tiny nicks and creases at the top and bottom of the dust jacket's spine (just visible in picture 3), there is a very small crease at the top left corner of the DJ's front cover (just visible in picture 1), a few very small yellow flecks on the external page edges and slight yellowing of the pages themselves, but this has no effect on readability, which is perfect.
