Great starter book
Very good introduction to the subject covering individual plant descriptions and 'how to ...' instructions. As with all DK books it is very well laid out and illustrated with LOTS of excellent and inspiring photos. I particularly like the "Planting Recipes" where suggested plant combinations are described, again with nice illustrative photos. The only minor reservations I have are: (a) it isn't exhaustive, eg there were a few bamboo varieties I looked up that weren't mentioned; and (b) instructions and plant descriptions are quite brief (probably enough for a beginner like me though). Overall an excellent book that I recommend. Definitely a keeper.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
