I first purchased a manual on CD Rom, which is good but you have to keep printing off pages and they're not really instructions, just blow up diagrams of how things go together. This Haynes manual is a series of instructions and when I say instructions, it really is with step by step photographs and written instructions to help you to do the maintenance or repair on your Rover 75. or MG ZT. The people who write these manuals actually do the work themselves and take photographs as they go along to make it easier for you. In truth, you do need a degree of skill in the car department or you wouldn't even contemplate maintenance on a modern car, and even though I have rebuilt engines in the past, I wouldn't even consider it without these manuals, they really are brilliant and intuitive. I purchased my manual just one week after I purchased the car, and I am so pleased with it, it is so comprehensive at over twelve hundred pages and complete with an index and a glossary etc. One service and the manual has paid for itself. I would thoroughly recommend.Read full review

I have neither the tools nor the inclination to do the really involved stuff, but any older car needs constant TLC. This helps me tackle things I would otherwise be paying for.

Well written book. It lacks electrical diagrams, though, but still a nice help to have at hand to do some mechanics.
