Lords of the Bow is the continuing story of Genghis Khan - a very compelling read woven into a story of life and conquests of the outcast Temujin who rose to power amongst the Mongol tribes to become the conqueror of Asia .

I bought and enjoyed the first three books in this series and looked forward to the next one out, Lords of the Bow. But this book was a dissapointment and not as good as the rest of the series. Its very political with no mention of the lives of the nation, I found myself reading the book just for the purpose of saying "I have read it". Not as well thought out and certainly not as interesting or compelling to read. It may be someones cup of tea, but it was one big disapointment after reading the forgoing books.
