Compelling Philosophical Arguments - Not for the faint hearted !
I wanted an authentic book on philosophy, rather than a modern "bite sized pieces" type of book.
This was written in the early 19th Century, as such it was not edited as we would expect by modern publishes. Hence the author is allowed to meander around a philosophical point, seemingly repeating himself.
I ticked " Would you recommend it" = yes. In the appropriate hands (and head) the author makes some compelling arguments therefore it is to be recommended however, I feel this book is appropriate to a student of philosophy however, its a heavy read for the novice.
