About this product

Product Information

As sweet as raspberry ripple, as tempting as popcorn: welcome to the seductive photographs of Pierre et Gilles, the masters of glam, kitsch, nostalgia, and everything fabulous. Bizarre and full of obscure significance, glitter, flowers, and hearts, the portraits are reminiscent of stills from film melodramas. This saccharine collection of kitsch encompasses selections of Pierre et Gilles' most delectable works on the recurring theme of sailors and the sea.

  • Not PC enough for this day and age.

I was surprised to find some images of clearly under-age boys in this book. I am familiar with their work but up to now have only seen adults posing - finding children in this adult-themed book was disturbing. On another note it is a slight book with many pages wasted with irrelevant rubbish, so not really worth the money.
