  • This great man used jazz and his way with words and cartoons to make us all smile.

If you are a jazz fan or interested in what you could achieve in life if you tried, Humphrey Lyttleton is the perfect person to read about or listen to. As a musician and band leader he was at the top of any list and as a cartoonist, author, composer, broadcaster, humorist etc and all round good egg he enriched many people's lives. It is great, therefore, to hear him talk about his career (up to 1995, when this was first released) for nearly 2 hours. There are excerpts of jazz recordings between chat and, with being on CD, there are tracks to skip to if needed. This is better than being on tape as it was originally released.
