Croydon streets as they were.
For those who know or knew croydon it is a fascinating book. My parents and grandparents grew up in the area. I missed the trams by 4 months but saw the trolley busses. It is an excellent reminiscence book and took me back to my young days. Like many places Croydon has been remodelled several times, not always for the best as in the post war aberrations. I have not seen the not so new tram system, an addition to the bucket list.
