About this product

Product Information

The architecture of the Amsterdam School is one of the most characteristic of Dutch architectural styles. A group of architects, including De Klerk, Kramer, Van der Mey and Wijdeveld, designed in the first decades of this century a number of expressionistic large-scale housing projects and public and private buildings in Amsterdam and elsewhere in the Netherlands. Amsterdam School looks at the development and character of this architectural style. In addition to sketches of the brickwork typical of the Amsterdam School, there are over 60 colour photographs by the renowned architectural photographer Han Derwig.

  • Very Good.

So few books on The Amsterdam School this is a decent survey, all in colour, yet could have featured more buildings.
