  • love this book!

I started to read Judith Kerrs children's books to my childern. One day we found a dusty copy of 'When Hitler stole Pink Rabbit' in the attic from my husbands school days and discovered Judith Kerr also did novels. After loving this book as a bedtime read to my children I then personally looked for her other novels which are semi autobiograpy and so the fascination began and I am reading the further two novels based on an older 'Anna'character. Highly relatable even to this day and age I'm hooked! It was great to find a copy here as its hard to get hold of in English.

  • Good mixture

A good mix of fact and fictional books. The Ann Cleeves book was entertaining. The Kate Morton book is a little fanciful but still readable. The Judith Kerr book historically fascinating. The book about Jane Austin looks interesting but have not started yet.

  • Very worth reading - as part of the trilogy.

An engaging and involving book, which is upbeat on a potentially downbeat topic - it lifted me up.
