I wont lie... in my head i feel like 3-4 pounds for 'double sided tape' is a lot of money... Saying that since i have started using these command strips they have turned out to be better than expected. I dont have the hooks for this size strip but i have so far used one to hold up our soap holder.... The original sticky that came with the soap holder gave up after about a month or 2 i would say. Then heavy duty double sided tape literally held for a few weeks and then fell... that was messy (it was the foam double sided tape) Used this command strip while the soap holder still had the foam like double sided tape... and so far it has been a month and the soap holder hasnt budged... even when we put a new full bar of soap the magnetism may give in but the holder itself hasnt budged... so im well impressed so far... Only thing is i positioned the command strip a little too low so it doesnt look as neat as i would have liked it to. But fantastic job so far... i would definitely recommend if you want to avoid nails... early stages yet.. if the strip does give in i will try my best to update..Read full review

The problem with sticky strip products is usually how long the glue lasts. About 3 months is my experience. It comes with spare sticky strips so, I suppose that's a plus. The item consists of a clear plastic base - onto which one sticks the sticky strip. The combined item is then stuck in place (in my case - a wall). Then, the coloured hook is slid over the clear bit and that's your hook. Instructions not marvellously clear about which end of clear bit is up. Pictures on back of pack could be more clear and clear plastic base could be marked better. The clear and coloured items just slot into each other and gravity (and the weight of whatever you hook on them) keeps them together. My experience has been that regular removing an item from the hook often dislodges the hook from it's clear plastic base. Fiddly and annoying. The concept that you can pull and stretch the sticky strip so that it comes off easily is probably true for glass or metal surface. But, definitely not for paintwork. It pulls the paint (and sometimes the underlying plaster) with it. I gave up on the sticky strips when I ran out and used a "no more nails" type of glue.Read full review

These strips really do work and cause no damage when removing them. Be careful when choosing as the picture hanging strips are more commonplace than the hook ones and it's easy to get the wrong ones. Also, prices vary widely and these were the least expensive I could find. Been using the Command hooks in the caravan(s) for a very long time and they never disappoint.

Accurate description and very prompt delivery. Will order again. 3M Command hooks are great and the fact you can get these replacement strips cheaply is great. Easy to use and so simple to remove. Leaves no mark at all!

These are ideal for hanging wall tapestries, just stick to a peg and put it in place, making sure the surface is clean, then peg the tapestry in place. They peel off easy and leave no mess.
