Well, I have not had this tape long so I cannot comment on longevity but it sure as heck feels sticky! The tape also has fine white reinforcing strands throughout for extra strength in two directions, the tape itself feels extremely tacky and looks as though it is capable of sticking on uneven surfaces as well as smooth.

When you look at this 'tape' it looks quite thick, once you have fixed it to one surface and removed the backing tape, it looks like a very thin layer of silicone. I used it to stick 2 plastic units to car plastics. At first it seemed to hold tight and some of the 'gel' substance squeezed out as it moulded itself to the slight convexed surface shape of one unit, whilst the other was a flat surface. Both units had flat surfaces. All seemed great and it says it takes 48 hours to 'set'. Having left and checked it every 24 hours, all seemed good, then a week later both units fell off. One was exposed to normal daylight, the other is in the boot. Both taped surfaces were still very sticky, so I pushed them back on and they seemed to stick. Sure enough a week later, both had fallen off again. Gave it a further week and they seemed to have stayed put, albeit not confident on for how long. Been 2 weeks since I last checked them, seem to be okay. I used very slim slithers of this tape to fix a new screen digitizer to a friends phone. It has been 4 weeks now since I made the repair and all seems well. It helped that the 'gel' is transparent to a degree. It is reasonably easy to cut providing you use very sharp scissors and don't get frustrated too easily. I found using a cutting board to make the shape using a crafting knife worked okay.Read full review

I had a towel holder that came with sticky pad and it kept falling off bathroom door because of weight of towel. With this tape its STRONGLY secured and doesn't budge.I definitely recommend. -UPDATE- was strong for about two weeks then one day I went in bathroom and seen towel on the floor.Seems like it starts off strong then gradually weakens. The good thing is there's a decent amount of roll to apply again. Ps But to be fair packaging does say that the tape is at its strongest after 48hrs.So I'm going to wait for two days before I put weight onto it this time.See if that helps. Before I added the weight onto it the same day.

Very sticky and strong. Requires sharp scissors or Stanley blade to cut desired length. Recommended.

Initially stuck well, adhesive gave up after a few days when it was very hot. Reapplied with new tape (same) and number plates stayed on so far. Seems that initial temperature was too high - an unusual occurrence in the UK so giving product a cautious ok.
