So well worth it.
I found it to be well made and hefty. It's not that much faster than the hand crank model however being electric it took a lot of the tedium out of cranking which wears your hand fingers out. As with any new gadget, a little practice quickly brings you up to a respectable speed. TIP: pack the tobacco tight against the lever end of the chute and not so tight in the rest of the chute and it will produce a nice firm squared cigarette end. It keeps from making a Tiki Torch. I also use the end of a ball point pen to Tamp it further, like a muzzle loader rifle. It's quality over quantity. You don't want a Tiki Torch while trying to drive. I travel a lot and I pack a carton at a time. Takes about 2 hours... Just Zone out, Zen in and do it...I find it relaxing like knitting.

Not as good as the original.
I owned the Original Powermatic for over 3 years before it plain wore out.This new one is made cheaper.It makes cracking noises where it tries to fill tubes and is not as strong when filling.Too bad,it used to be a good product.Wish i could submit 0 stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My personal opinion with the power matic 2
I bought one as a gift for my dad this machines performance is excellent 👌 I had to buy another one for myself to have it makes cigerretts perfect I actually prefer a smoke from the power matic 2 machine then to have one from a box from a pack you buy at the store this is awesome and I am saving money each month big time I used to buy 2 cartons of smokes for $70 or more ? Now I just buy 1 16oz bag of 4 Ace's tobacco for $21.50 and 3-4 boxes of tubes for $ 3.00 apiece which comes out to be spending $33.50 a month I am very happy with the power matic projector and the quality of the smokes it makes plus the money it saves me !😁👍

I ♥ this machine!
I was growing tired of using my hand cranking model. The time and energy I put into using it was taking it's toll on my bad right shoulder.The Powermatic 2 fills a perfect cigarette every time. The time I am saving now is ridiculous. I picked up operating it up almost immediately. I use 100s tubes and it fills them perfectly from end to end. No carrot tops or falling lit heads, which was a issue I was experiencing occasionally with my hand cranker. I also received it quickly which was a bonus. I use cigarette tobacco (American Spirit exclusively) and no further grinding is needed. I can't smoke pipe tobacco. It makes me hack, so I can't really say if theres a big difference in how it performs using a thicker cut tobacco. I'm pretty sure if grinded some it would work fine. I also haven't had any problems with accidentally overpacking this machine with the tobacco I use. I keep the can sealed and throw in a humidor packet to keep the tobacco perfect moist. I really can't say enough about how pleased I am with this purchase so far. If you smoke and are frugal, this is the perfect cigarette injector IMHO. Hopefully this review will help anyone interested in purchasing this product. I didn't want to give a review right away and use it some first. It's been over a month now since I started using it and it's fantastic. After you get a rhythm using it, I think you'll be more than happy with the time and money it saves you. It's pretty much idiot proof if you know what I mean. Hope this gives people a heads up if their considering purchasing one. Good value for what it is... could be lower in price... but gets job done... the poweroll top o matic and zen super shooter with this have a lot in common. Stop buying the auger type machines

Definitely a step up from the powermatic 2 Which I used for 5 years and loved
My Powermatic 2 plus is a replacement for my Powermatic 2 which I owned and used for 5 years until I broke the injector. The Powermatic 2 Plus is quieter and has a widder opening for the tobacco which seems to allow for better packing and so far no jams. I like the Plus version a lot better than the 2, it packs a full cigarette every time that appears and smokes like professionally packed ones and does not leave tobacco hanging out of the end of the cigarette, and so far no jams. This is definitely worth spending a couple extra bucks on, I pack 20 cigarettes in 3 minutes with this machine and so far they come out perfect every time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Really works well.
I bought this to try and save on my smokes and I'm really pleased, I operate it while watching TV and haven't had any problems. I did have to try some different tobacco and tubes to fine tune to my taste. After using it for a while it occurred to me that rolling your own also clears your smokes from the additive mandated for FSC, (flame safe cigarettes).
