Not as intuitive as the J5 - some odd features too
Bought this to replace a J5 as the internal memory was only 16GB and this one double. It feels heavier but is nice to look at. The screen definition is excellent. It's not as easy to set up as previous Samsungs. E.g. more complicated to download external ringtones and almost impossible to find them on the phone. Missing some features in email like side swipe to delete emails. Also the big change is that you cannot remove the back to get to the battery so if it fails, it needs to be taken to their shop to replace. Also, the sim card and internal memory card are accessed from the side and top of the phone using a glorified pin. You daren't lose this as I tried to open these 'drawers' with an unravelled paper clip and it wouldn't work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I loved my Nokia windows phone, but had to change due to the lack of available apps. After much searching, finally settled on this Samsung A5 (2017 and have found it a pleasure to use. It's been far easier to set up than I imagined (only a couple of errors on my part - mostly confused passwords!) I don't need all the fancy gimmicks on the more expensive phones, this has all I need with fingerprint security as well.
