Not for novices
Went through the recommended 'pre-use' cleaning proceedure, which actually seems more relavent to a cast-iron product, but I did it anyway. The overall 'feel' of these, is of quality (the weight, balance and texture), but the lids - and I don't know if this typical of the range? - are noticeably 'loose'. Otherwise, in-use, in order to get the pan and contents up to temperature in a comparable time to the previous set (which were cast-iron), it seems that a higher setting required up to the point where progress is noticeably underway. Thereafter, are fine, though (also as per the recommendations), the requirement to let the pan cool in its own time, rather than accellerate with cold water (or else 'potentially' damage the coating) is a bit tedious. It may just be a case of getting used to their usage recommendations, but I wouldn't give these as a gift to 1st-time newly-weds, as they "most certainly" would not have the patience to stick to themVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great saucepans.
These saucepans are great quality & I like their appearance. I followed the instructions regarding preparing the pans for use & after each use & they are very easy to clean. Good quality pans
These pans are fantastic but you must look after them properly otherwise the non stick will stop working eventually. You should never put water in a hot pan that has just been used to soak it as this perishes the non stick. Let it cool first then use a soapy sponge, soft side and dry straight away. It keeps the pans in good condition. Another good trick is to coat it in a little bit of oil and wipe off with paper before you put them away. As for using them in the dishwasher, I haven't but I worked somewhere that had these pans and they are dishwasher safe but they left them in the washer to dry, so the non stick stopped working. New type of non-stick really is.
A couple of months ago I bought a new to me 'stone' finish pan. I was totally blown away by the 'non-stickiness' of it, so decided to replace all my old (knackered) pans with these.
