An excellent read!
A fantastic book which perfectly merges real history with great fiction. Pressfield has managed to slot his narrative and his characters seamlessly between historic events and characters. A great read and an instant classic!

Borrowed out my original copy and never got it back - they must have loved it too. Had to replace when I saw this offer. If you know the history or seen the film (300) then this is the book for you - does wonders for your imagination; it might even inspire you to read Homer's Iliad or The Oddessey. Happy Reading.
