Very bright, works right, nice darn light!
This is one of the brightest handheld LED lanterns you can buy. It's very well made, and seems durable. The three light settings are handy because at the brightest setting (500 lumens) you might actually have too much light shining in your eyes. No real negatives, other than it's a bit heavy due to the three D-cell batteries it uses. They're also more expensive than the typical AAs, but they much longer, so it's worth it. Get this if you need a portable, reliable bright light.

Such an attractive lantern and it lights up three ways just as shown in the photos. Easy to carry in your hand and great for storms and camping. I love this lantern and may consider buying another one.
