About this product

Product Information

This is a rural tale about a child and her mother in the snow, a lost teddy and a brave sheepdog. Sara goes with her Mummy, her teddy and the dogs to feed the sheep on the hill. As they walk, a snowstorm begins and, after feeding the sheep, they make their way quickly towards home. But then a mini crisis unfolds: where is Teddy? Lost in the snow somewhere, it seems. But then, out of the whiteness, one of the dogs appears carrying Teddy in her mouth. Back home, Sara tells Daddy about her adventure. Kim Lewis is also the author of the other titles in this series, one of which, The Shepherd Boy , was shortlisted for the 1991 Kate Greenaway Medal, Emma's Lamb , Floss , First Snow , The Last Train and My Friend Harry .

  • Essential for your library!

Beautiful artwork depicting English landscapes, animals and children. Down to earth story of everyday life on a sheep farm. We want to go there and share the experiences of this family after reading her books. Planning to add to our collection so we don't miss any. My toddler son loves these books, and I love them as well.
