Seat repairs
I have used this repair filler on 2 badly cracked seats the drivers seat also had a hole in the middle of the cushion that you sit on, 2 holes under the drivers squab next to the door, also a cigarette burn in the backrest of the back seat. I have used about 11/2 tins to make these repairs which were quite extensive. I do dot have the right colour to put over the filler but on using a different colour to see what has happened and I found that most of the cracks are invisible. This filler is like a cream and it drys quite slowly which I didn’t mind as I wasn’t interested in using a hairdryer. Pressing down on the seats to test the strength of the repairs I was very surprised at how strong the repairs are. This is well worth the moneyVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Repair looking good.
I used this to repair the sides of a leather carriage clock case where a previous owner had shoved a handbag handle behind the leather covering. He had used hard glue which I had to cut away leaving cuts either side of the old handle. I filled in the cuts and stained them the correct colour. I had tried to make an imprint of the leather using resin putty covered with cling film. I didn't dare heat the new filler hot enough so I wasn't able to grain the repair. I used dye to colour a replacement handle fitted through the sides of the case. The finished repair looks good even from reasonably close up. I used a small artist's painting knife to do the repair which was ideal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
