poor quality
Very disappointed with this filter bought it as the reviews look good, quality very poor worst thing being the baskets which don't fit the cannister there is a 3mm gap around them when fitted in which means the water will go up and down the sides rather than through the foam and media in the baskets don't know if mine was a bad one but the motor was very noisy compared to other makes I have would not recommend I suppose you get what you pay for

Crystal clear water
I had a problem with keeping the water clear in my 125 litre tank. After buying this is now crystal clear. I did buy additional carbon and ceramic balls as there weren't really enough supplied in the original box.

Good second external
Bought this because my main filter was playing up . Although the main filter is now fixed I have decided to run this alongside . It comes supplied with some filter media although additional media will need to be purchased for full functionality . Only negative would be the water pipes . They are quite soft and can fold over reducing water flow . For around £50 it keeps my fish happy .

I found it as good as the other make , difference being it was a lot cheaper and easy to put together the only comment I have is when I go to empty it one of the handles come of its joints , but it's easy clipped back on
