Bird Feeder
First one came with a manufacturing fault but was soon replaced. Looks good and the birds love it. Our squirrel did give it some attention and caused it to fall on the floor due to our securing wire not being strong enough to support him and the feeder. It did survive the attack though in one piece and it is a pleasure to see the birds. With peanuts in it is particularly attractive to the blue tits and we even had a nut hatch today on there so very pleased and would recommend just let down with having a fault on the first one but I rather expect that is the exception rather than the rule. Not Squirrel Proof
It would be great if the squirrels hadn't gotten their tiny little hands in and already broken the wire mesh, hence I can not recommend this as squirrel proof unfortunately. It is cheap but the wire is quite thin or our squirrels are very determind.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It beat the squirrels!
After reading other reviews I thought I'd give it a go. Squirrels have been a pain in the neck for ages, eating the bird food, destroying the feeders as well as digging up bulbs and plants. They even ate my sunflower heads before they had turned to seed! Once they know food is around they are constant visitors. The good news is that after putting up this feeder and getting rid of the other feeders, they have disappeared. They don't even try to destroy it. Keeps large birds away
I was dubious about spending this amount of money on another bird feeder when I already had one. However, we keep having an influx of large birds who scare the smaller birds away and eat all the nuts. I was regularly filling my old bird feeder. This new one keeps large birds away, allowing smaller birds to feed in peace.
