I guess its all down to money. This is a good saw for doing light weight items. The only problem I found with it is that the saw guides that slot over the vertical metals columns are made from plastic which I would imagine over time will flex. My previous compound cutter was all metal and lasted for years I'm not sure if I will get the same service from this one but time will tell. Value for money?, yes. I has a smooth action and is easy to put together. Was cutting trim within and few minutes.

Bought saw to make my own picture frames , saw does not! Cut plumb had to make a timber mitre box should have just done that in first place instead of wasting money 😡😡

The only complaint I have is the instruction booklet and specifically the diagram of the product which is too small and repeated against each language. Why not produce a clearer, larger diagram on a tear- out which could be used against each language?

It looks good, but on none 45 degree angle it cuts straight, but not on the other, so the miters do not fit at all well.
