Needed a few various brushes and the Hamilton and Harris makes have always been good. Saw the dozen advertised and went for it. These are good soft brushes with long hairs which means paint doesn't get right up to the ferrule which makes cleaning much easier and less drying out of the paint on the brush head. I have noticed, however, that there is a little hair loss when using. This is not a problem as they are not described as "no loss" brushes so I expected a few to work loose. Overall, these are a really good brush, suitable for almost all applications. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The brushes are ok for applying undercoat or basic tasks but the synthetic bristles are way to stiff to achieve a decent finish on the top coat. Ok for the price but a few £'s more could get you pure bristles.
