Plenty of velocity and consistent shots.
I was able to mount the scope sight and calibrate it from 30 feet with no problems. Scope installation directions are a bit brief, however. It was rather closely aligned already as shipped. I now have it dead on, and there is lots of compression. Two cottontail rabbits that were eating my bushes and plants are now history. Only takes five or six pumps to have enough velocity for a 35-foot shot. This pellet gun has good balance and the scope sight is excellent.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

You get what you pay for these days. Crosman quality not there.
The quality of this gun is not anywhere near the same gun of 30 years ago. I have a vintage 766 gun from the 80's and you can just feel the difference in the two guns. Crosman has always had a good name in the BB gun industry but I am not so sure this new gun will last even a few years. It is a shame because I believe people would pay a little more for this product if they could have the same quality as the guns were made from years past.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Crosman 2100 break barrel spring cock, hard to cock but good quality

Great pellet/bb gun

Very sharp acurate well built.
I use it for target practice for hunting season. Do too it's accuracy It would be a well choice for a bird or small game or pest Control. I love Crossmaster products when I was growing up in the 1980's me and my brother used to target practice with the smaller model with bb's. I will be purchasing more products from this company in the future. Still puts out a well built air rifle. I've had friends that have owned them and broke them but it was due to not taking care of there air rifle or gun. It's good to use the Crossman oil about every 250 shots or pumps 1 drop. Also make sure you pump it correctly follow the manufacture instructions and you will enjoy this rifle for several years. Great Value
You get a lot for the price with this BB gun. Yeah, it's a lot of plastic and it's not very high-end. But, it works well. It has great power and is pretty accurate. It has metal parts where it needs it, feels like it will stay together and will take a little abuse. So far the scope is holding it's own. It was a little touchy dialing it in and doesn't like being adjusted much. It'll be easy enough to upgrade if it doesn't stay on target after a few bumps. Accurate and fun pellet rifle
I was a little worried that this newer gun wouldn't match up to the 2100 I grew up using. That was late 70s early 80s model that my dad owned. I have been happy that the gun has a metal receiver, feels solid and shoots well. With about 10 shots I had the scope dialed in and I can keep groups inside a 50 cent sized target at 20 yards. Only shooting pellets, no bbs, although the gun says it takes bbs. I have only shot about 200 pellets so far but so far so good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

great accuracy from inexpensive air rifle
