It utilises a 2400W heating element with a top grilling plate and a flat-bottomed toasting plate. The drop tray lies underneath and clicks in and out for easy cleaning. Toasties......Hooray!!
I've only had the thing a couple of weeks and used it three times to make my favourites...toasted cheese and tomato sangas. That's my primary intended use. What can I say? It looks good, is easy to use and it works well. And it's no fuss to clean with a damp cloth and that's a big plus for a slacker like me. The height adjuster/locking knob is a bit ordinary but it works and I guess you can expect that for the price. So far, so good.
