Easy to make perfect exrta holes in leather belt

You get what you pay for
It's important to understand that these are budget tools; low cost, poor quality, limited life. For the price they're OK but don't expect them to be easy to use or to last very long. The punch tool didn't line up correctly and neither did the eyelet pliers. The handles on the pliers bent the first time I used them but maybe I squeezed too hard. Once I straightened them out (with a small hammer) they worked OK for a while but then the pivot pin came loose which actually made the misalignment easier to work with. Eyelet set not up to standard
It's a cheap product ... as simple as that ! The eyelets are quite flimsy and fiddly to align properly before pressing together. Once fixed, it was noticeable that due to the thiness of the eyelet material, there were small sharp edges on the flange side ... I needed to use pliers to press in some of the sharp edges ... before running my finger tip over the eyelet. I used it on paper and on canvas without any real success. The right tool for the right job!
Good quality, good price and arrived in good time. Excellent service. This is one tool I do not use all that often; but when I do, it then becomes the handiest thing I have. It punches all sized holes I could ever need it to. The eyelets are perfect for securing holes from fraying and also to make the job look good. Just what is needed
This item is made of metal unlike others. This is highly recommended, and is so says to use. Also this is an item that you will purchase and use many times, saves going out and buying expensive belts, I am a big guy so finding a belt to fit has proven to be a hard task. This item is just what I have been looking for now I can save money by doing this myself and not wasting about £5 plus on every hole, also finding a shop that does this is a challenge so now I can do this myself i will be telling all my friends and family that I can do this for them. Every size hole to be able to punch and it is easy to do this. The feel of this item tells you that this have been made well. The only plastic on it is the handles. Great quality at a very low price!
I wasn't sure what the quality of this set would be like as it was a very reasonable price and I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it is excellent! I use one or both of the tools on a daily basis now to punch holes in leather and cork and to place eyelets and it works exceedingly well.
