7 piece Ingenio essential non stick saucepan set with lids
I had bought the set of two frying pans with handle at my local tesco store. The pans were fabulous and I liked the idea of being able to remove the handle and transfer to the oven. I started pricing the pans and came across this set on eBay for a great price. As expected the pans are of good quality, the lids are great and buying this set also gave me another handle which in itself can be expensive if buying separately. The fact that the handles can be removed makes for easy storage in a small area. The lids lie flat because the lid handle can be flat. I then bought the plastic lids to match which are great for keeping your pot of cooking in your fridge. All in all, a fantastic purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great idea but very disappointing
These saucepans are a great idea and enable to save space. However, the handle creates scratches to the saucepan very quickly. I have only been using it for a week and there are already marks and scratches. I have followed all the instructions given by Tefal and I have been extremely careful. Space saving magic!
You can never fault Tefal quality of course, but this genius idea from them is just total class. The whole pan set sits neatly in one space with each pan sitting inside the other and the lids lay neatly on top as the butterfly handles lay flat also. Easy to take handle on and off when required. Excellent space saving pots
These pots are excellent at cutting the space that traditional pots take up. They are made to the usual Tefal quality and the handle fits on and off very easily and quickly while remaining secure when you want it to. Butterfly handles on the lids are excellent and have pretty much freed up an entire drawer in the kitchen. Great Space Saving Set
Very pleased with these pans - and the two frying pans we also bought. They are the usual teal quality and have the advantage of being easy to store due to the removable handles whose operation is positive and precise both in locking on and unlocking from the pans and cause no damage to the pans themselves whilst doing so. Ingenio saucepan set
The saucepans and lids are great. Cook food well and are very easy to clean. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is the handle. I find it difficult clipping it onto the pan as it's really stiff. Excellent for stacking in a small space.
I was looking to replace my old Tefal saucepans which had folding handles to help make storage easier. The lids on two of those had lost their handles and I'd made replacements from nuts and bolts, which worked fine (as long as I remembered not to lift the lids of a boiling pan with my bare hands!), but didn't look very elegant. As I hate throwing anything away I had resisted buying new saucepans, but when the non-stick began to wear out a bit on the pans I used the most I thought it was time. Ingenio seems to be the replacement for the folding handle pans that I was used to and I'm pleased with the removable handle on the new ones. As well as making them easy to store, it's good to have versatile pans that can go in the oven and look acceptable when serving up at the table. (I didn't bother with the plastic lids to save stuff in the fridge, but I can see myself using my normal pot covers with them.) Whilst it's easy enough to attach and detatch the handle, I can see I'm going to need to buy a second one as if I want to rearrange hot pans on the hob it's hard with just one handle. I am also not sure about the fitting of the lid when the handle is attached. Without the handle in place it's a good, tight fit, but with the handle attached there's a gap all the way around. It might not matter at all, but it is not quite what I was expecting. But that doesn't alter the fact that this is a great little set and I'm sure it will last at least as long as my previous pans.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
