Poorly designed jug
Large jug. Not well fitting lid. If you fill it to near the top the water will splash / leak through the lid edges. Lid on water spout is rubbish. When pouring the spout lid flaps and does not open well, causing water to flow haphazardly. filters do produce alkaline water as i tested it with a pH strip. Re taste, personally think the maxtra and aqua optima taste better. No comment re health benefit.. haven't used it long enough.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Been using these filters for over two years now and I can honestly say that my overall health is by far better than it was before hand. Only time I suffer heartburn now is when I'm away from my filter. So I've bought a second one. :-) it's for our holiday home. I say it prevents heartburn but it does so much more. Our skin is much better than it was even though we where drinking at least 2 litres of water a day before finding these filters. Now we only drink water from them. It tastes better and make tea brew and taste better. Even coffee tastes better. Making sauces is easier than with regular tap water. Even my wife's cooking has gotten better lol. All in all I'm more than happy with these filters. They are well made and easy to clean and use. I really cannot fault them. Water is the most important thing for us. And sadly it's not something we can take for granted anymore. Anywhere in the world that I know of. Even bottled water is acidic apart for one or two companies that I won't mention hear as I'm not advertising for anyone. All I can say is that this product works and really well. I hardly ever write reviews on products but this alkaline water jug did suprise me. I've been using it for about a month now but only after a few days of use i noticed the difference. It helped with my acid reflux problem to a point where i could just simply stop taking my prescription meds. If you have indigestion/acid problem and reach for rennie you sould really give this a go. I even started giving the water to my cats and they love it lol. The design is not perfect i have to say, lid is a bit flimsey and the filter life display went dead on me (had to reset it) but it was definitely one of the things it was worth to spend my money on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing filter but weaky manufacturing
The pure Alcaline is a fantastic filter jug especially for the filtering quality, the water is three points more alkaline and the taste is really good, sadly the lid is a bit weak and although the capacity is 3.5 litres it is not possible to have more than 1.5/2 litres ready to drink.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice tasting water but jug needs redesign
Jug is a good size and looks good but the lid comes off too easily, and there is only a small amount of space between the spout and the water resevoir so it pours out slowly and intermittently. The water tastes great though.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

One negative point is the lid
The lid let's it down this is the neg point it removes itself too easily from the jug , you have to hold it when pouring otherwise it falls of . Other than this 1 problem I consider it to be most useful and the water is excellent 😀Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
