Contains everything you need to actually make the adjustment, with one important proviso; I discovered the hard way that the size and type of tuning pegs are NOT standard, and vary between different pianos. This kit fits square tuning pegs, and is the second tuning kit I have bought, because the first kit (from a different supplier) was designed for splined pegs. And despite checking measurements this still doesn't fit my instrument; so there are at least three different standards! Like most kits this does not include a frequency meter, and neither does it include a tuning fork, so to do a full job you will need one or the other as well. But neither is needed for getting the instrument internally consistent, i.e. "in tune with itself".

Tuning wrench gets worn out and stops tuning after about 30 pegs ( about 10 piano keys) It gets worn inside and then is useless as it doesn't hold the square piano peg but just keeps turning wearing out the piano pegs also in the process.

I bought these chiefly for the wedges, which are ok. The tuning wrench is rubbish - far too small, wrong shaped head socket with the steel being very poor. Binned it as I have my own professional grade wrench which cost considerably more than this kit. You get what you pay for, I suppose ...

Square drive tuning wrench is way to large to fit square tuning pins, invest in a proper #2 torx spline drive tuning wrench instead. Rubber mutes are ok though!!
