Not the advertised 5mp and fell apart
I bought this after seeing one at a friends house(not the same seller or brand) and was impressed. I looked for one that had the same resolution and similar looking build at a reasonable price and found this. When I received it I tested it and realised straight away that the advertised resolution of 5mp was not at all true. It is 640 x 480 at 72 dpi. Then, just an hour ago, I decided to test it again before making a complaint, and the base fell off with no hope of it screwing back on. So, the quality of the images are not at the advertised resolution and the build of the microscope is very poor and cheap. I paid more for this product based on the 5mp, but really wish I had not. OK but.....
This is a fantastic device and works really well but.......it is damn near impossible to load the software on a Windows 10 device. It has additional installation instructions specifically for Win 10 but these just don't work. I messed around for a couple of hours and finally got it working but I've no idea how. Then I tried to load the software on a second laptop. I've given up! Bottom line, great device when you get it working.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
