Nice Sounding Valves but there's current production that'll beat them.
Nice Valve / Tubes, sound neutral in my Parks Audio Budgie Phono Preamp but not nearly as good as the 1975 Philips JANs. They have the edge on current production EH 6922s as the JAN Philips aren't so "brittle / harsh" on the top end. They have less Low End than current production JJ 6922 Gold Pins so if you like "warm" sounding Valves / Tubes then these JAN Philips 6922s aren't for you. I prefer and eventually settled on current production Genalex Gold Lions for the Budgie but if you like less Bass and a very slightly rolled off sound then these 1980s JAN Philips should do. I wouldn't pay £30 each for them again though. There's better Valves / Tubes to be had for similar outlay.

Great Tube
This an great tube... with warm sound and cristal too. It's a non brain for this price...I used it in an small head amp... from Bravo Audio... that costs less than 100€ and the sound is fantastic.... Very pleased....
