I've broken two of these working on the car. The length of the switch makes it vulnerable if it's in a prominent position, and the metal stalk snaps easily. I don't blame the switch, my error was to install it when there was still work to do around the interior of a small car; so I would suggest not fitting it until all other work is complete. I think you could also shorten the switch: I haven't tried that yet but I'm not sure it needs to be so long.

Very small indeed. Whilst product dimensions were given it is only apparent how small it is in relation to a switch that you realise just how small. I have chosen not to use it in favor of making one of my own

I used this to operate as a flasher switch for my headlights and spots on my 1958 MG Magnette. So much easier than trying to find and pull out a double pole headlight switch. I found the item to be solid, nicely made and able to do the job as required. It is not too long so it does not get in the way but easy enough to find quickly with the fingers and operate. Previous switches used were either too long and got in the way or were flimsy and threatened to break. Happy with this one and would (if required) buy another without hesitation.
