Superbly written perspective on web dating. Honest and compassionate.
This is an amazing read and you won't be able to put it down. As much about relationships as it is about sourcing them on line...ready to go. Like a microwave meal...or not ! Takes you on a real journey of personal thoughts and perceptions of people and their rationale and logic in attempting to make and create a relationship after sending a few lines to a random stranger. Funny, moving at times, the online dating rollercoaster is revealed in all it's brutality ! Anyone who has done web dating will be nodding and shaking their head in equal measure. With a few tut, tuts thrown in. The author, as at June 2024 is writing for The Spectator. He has a unique descriptive style that puts you right there, in the pages of the book. Some of the settings and scenes he describes he was in with females are beautifully written, and you will search back through the hard drive of your life contrasting and comparing these situations with ones of your own or maybe people you knew or know.
