My old kitchen Aid beater was a bit battered so I needed a new one as we bake a lot of cakes in our house. The rubber edge scrapes the mixture from the side of the bowl which is a great improvement from my old one

Good beater and improvement on supplied beater
An excellent beater which makes making cakes etc much easier as I don't have to keep stopping the mixer to clear the sides of the bowl. It's shame you have to buy it as an extra at extra cost because the supplied beater doesn't work as well as this one.

Scrapes the sides of the bowl well
Unfortunately after the first use the enamel at the tip splintered off. Yhe worry is, that more will crack off with use and end up in my cake. It should have fitted the bowl, they are supposed to be compatible.
