Decent product
Great product but unless the price is truly tied to the production cost, it's overpriced for such a device. Some game ST's don't work perfectly but some do work perfectly, just depends on the games you play and the developers behind those games, it's really no fault of XIM. Just wish the price point was much more reasonable which is why I bought a used device. Negative accelaration
The device itself is very well built, and the implementation of on the fly config via your smartphone is extremely convinient. The problem is something we call "negative acceleration". It basically means the faster you move your mouse, the slower the camera movement will be. That can happen on PC, usually on bad ports. On this case, it happens because of a logic limit on the stick/mouse emulation. The max stick movement on the console can only reach a certain speed, which is very low compared to PCs. When you plug in your mouse and go jump on a twitch based shooter like COD, the negative acceleration becomes such a problem that it throws you off everytime you try to aim. The mouse simply can't translate the movement in a way the console "understands", and because of that you will never be able to develop any type of muscular memory.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

XIM4 Allowed me to play again.
Owing to medical problems using my PS4 via it's controller had become impossible. With this little unit plugged in it's allowed me to start playing my games again, but this time using a keyboard and mouse. The unit was very easy to set up and can be constantly updated access to the internet. One thing to note, you must have a pc, tablet or smartphone in order to use the XIM4 properly. The unit is surpringly small and looks just like a USB hub. Almost like PC.

Honest Review
Okay here it is, you need a newer phone or a computer with Bluetooth capability. This device is cool for regular gaming, for online competitive stuff it's not. The device along with the things you need cost more than a real high end controller. I spent 300$ already and my system isn't any better or more responsive, I wish I would have gone another route. Best mouse and keyboard adaptor!
If you are looking to get a mouse and keyboard adaptor then go with the xim4. It costs a little more than its competitors but is so worth it. Easy to use and dead on accuracy. Xim 4 is better than the Xim Apex for Call of Duty games.
I got tired of wasting money on a new scuf controller every year because they would wear out. Gave the XIM Edge a try and never looked back. Got the XIM 4 then the XIM APEX. I had sold off my Edge and Xim 4. However I like the Xim 4 better than the Apex when it comes to Call of Duty.
