Nice set
I was surprised at the level of manufacture, very sturdy, great design, very good capacity and easy to fill and operate. The only negative is with the adjustable grinding mechanism if set a bit loose it can jam when using whole pepper corns, if set too tightly it will not grind pepper corns effectively. Using salt crystals in these grinders does not cause any problem as the crystals are smaller, so they can be adjusted as desired.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I bought these as the picture shows them full with salt and pepper but they arrived empty also they are way too big for a normal table setting I ended up buying a set from B and M for £4 which were way better and also full of salt and pepper. Like the ability to change the coarseness of the salt and pepper. Holds a lot of salt and pepper, so you don't have to keep filling it up. Being manual you don't have to put 4 to 6 batteries in each one. Glad I chose these. Good design condiment grinders.
These grinders work better than many I have bought and being "Upside down" they do not scatter salt and pepper everywhere.
