Looked for ages to find the ideal awning , that would blend with our garden and house. A great size, looks elegant and very easy to assemble. Further finished off , by interlocking solar lights around it , which opens it up so beautiful at night time.

I paid about £120 for this in the sales, it is good value for that price but I wouldn't want to pay much more as it is not very sturdy and the fabric is not waterproof. I have put two of the legs in planters to stop it from blowing about in the wind, although you can secure it to the wall and ground. It does look nice, just not sure if it will last. Update: after less than a year, the central bar has buckled, despite taking the canopy down in heavy weather.

I bought this awning in June 2020. I paid £160 for it. Easy to assemble if there's two of you. I fastened it to the wall of my house and was very pleased with it. However, in October, a reasonable wind (not a gale) pushed up the canopy and all the hook and loop fasteners broke away from the fabric down the central spar.. I had a local sailmaker stitch the fasteners back on and also had him put two reinforced holes in the back edge of the canopy to hold it more securely. It serves us very well over the summer. It is waterproof for light rain but with continuous rain, eventually it lets in water along the roof-canopy support bars. In October this year. another moderate wind bent the central support spar and allowed the roof canopy to sag such that it started to collect water. I asked the supplier for a replacement spar but they refused to sell me one. The whole unit is now useless. It looks good and does the job superficially. But if anything goes wrong, (6 month warranty) you'll have to throw it away.Read full review
