Great low cost rowing machine!
It took me a while to put it together and set up the rams properly but it was worth the effort. The finished product is solid and copes with my height and weight very well (6'1"-106kg). The hydraulic rams are solidly made and provide plenty of resistance when you're ready to knock it up a notch. The seat is comfortable and slides very smoothly combined with well designed feet restraints that hold you firmly in place during your workout. Misleading Advertising
Rower does not have stand at the rear to raise it off the ground as shown in the advertising photo and video. Makes it very difficult to lower user onto seat as only a few inches from floor. Instructions in box dont show a stand at all. Also in video , a dial is shown to adjust setting-again it does not have one and isnt shown in instructions. Why do Argos feel this is acceptable to treat customers this way. I had to return my first rower as when i opened the box there were no instructions and all the packaging was open. Looked like somebody else had returned it. Had i not thrown my own packaging away, i would have returned this one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product at a good price
It certainly feels good for exercise of the arms and legs. The monitor tells you how much calories you have used as well number of strokes undertaken. Would have given it a 5* but one of the U shaped brackets on the lower arm was too tight a fit to assemble shock absorber. However once this was prised wider all went together as expected. It might be worth the manufacturer checking this dimension once the bracket has been welded to the lower arm. Well liked and would recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good for the money but beware of faulty welding.
I have previously owned three of these machines and all have suffered faulting welding resulting in them being returned and replaced free of charge as they were less than one year old.
