Great timer
I have 2 of these timers used for towel rails in summer. They are a bit bulky and tricky to set initially but once set they work very well. One has now been in use for 3 years and has operated faultlessly. It has a backup battery which maintains settings during a power cut or when you are working on the mains circuit and have the power off which is very handy. One works, the other does not
I bought 2 of these switches; one of them works perfectly. The other one shows a power light but there are no digits showing, no matter how long it is left on charge, so we are unable to set the time, or to test if it provides power to the heater or not. good for economy 7 as well as normal timer use
this was bought to replace an economy 7 timer. it fits into a standard size patress but extra depth is recommended because the wiring is usually much thicker, so deeper than a light switch but a plug depth is minimum recommended. i fitted this for my elderly parents who find it very easy to use. it is constantly lit and the 'boost' function is easily used, and it is also easy to program. it stores programs and time during power failure once its internal battery is charged. as mentioned i added an 'economy 7' program so that they take advantage of the off peak electricity. it keeps very good time as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Neat immersion timer
This is my second purchase, as the first failed within a week. So not too sure about long term reliability, though other users have not had problems. This new one has been running a couple of weeks without problems on a simple timing programme. It's quite complicated setting an involved sequence and it concerned me that the previous one probably failed because I was trying a complicated setting. (The failure resulted in a grayed-out screen which would not alter no matter which buttons were pressed. Maybe just a bad apple!). Easily wired and programmed
I bought this to replace a timer whose buttons became 'sticky'. This one is easy wire and easy to programme, it has supply and 'on' lights, an easy to read display and good backlighting. However, unlike the previous timer, it does not feature a cartridge fuse and it does not have an on/off switch built in. On balance I decided the fuse and switch were not so important because this timer is connected to its own mcb and there is a double pole isolator higher up in the circuit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality and well made
Bought this to replace an older Timer which is used to control an immersion heater. I am very impressed with this Timeguard NTT03. I did quite a bit of research before buying it. Reasons for choosing this model was simple to set has numerous setting options plus the ability to give the Immersion a 1. Or 2. Hour Boost Automatic change over from GMT. To British summer Time. Digital timer replaced analogue one
